Welcome To Gladstone!

Gladstone South AustraliaNestled in the Rocky River Valley at the southern end of the beautiful Flinders Ranges is our lovely town of Gladstone.

The township of Gladstone, situated 209 kms north of Adelaide, was named after one of the British Empire's most illustrious statesman, The Right Honorable William Ewart Gladstone.

The town's rich heritage is an interesting mix of farming, railways, military and the famous historic Gladstone Gaol. Once the major railway junction in the mid-north, it is now the location of the largest inland grain receival facility in Australia. A walk around the town provides much of this fascinating past.  Both self-guided and guided walking tours are available to visitors.

The small but shady Tresylva Park provides electric barbecues, a large lawn covered area, public and disabled toilets, playground and ample parking.

A friendly, peaceful town, Gladstone is a great place to live or to visit,

So why not .....

come  ...  stop ...  relax ...
